Art Direction for Chopt Seasonal Menus
Spring 2025
A bold partnership between Bachan’s Japanese BBQ sauce and Chopt Creative Salad Co., united by a passion for real ingredients. The overall art direction for the shoot was inspired by Japanese aesthetics, which is a perfect blend of minimalism, modernism, and traditional design. Seasonal ingredients were featured in each of the shots, as well as the hero ingredient The design direction draws inspiration from the risograph printing techniques (originating in Japan in the 80’s) and Japanese manga.

Summer 2025
Every Summer, the limited-time salad and dressing offerings at Chopt feature seasonal ingredients that are in their peak freshness. Inspired by natural elements and the mystical wonders of nature, fairy-tale like sceneries were created for the salads to highlight the main seasonal ingredients: basil and peaches. In order to surface the rest of the seasonal ingredients featured in the summer salads that customers can also add to their own salads, we created a poster that featured beauty shots of the ingredients in the style of a summer music festival poster.

Summer 2024
Every Summer, the limited-time salad and dressing offerings at Chopt feature seasonal ingredients that are in their peak freshness. Inspired by the “easy, breezy” feel of summer and spending seemingly countless hours lying out in green grass surrounded by nature, I worked with the team to art direct a photoshoot to create a whimsical garden scenery for the seasonal salads. Each scenery featured elements of the seasonal ingredient, from basil and corn for the Summer Corn Caesar Salad (featuring Basil Caesar Dressing) to strawberries and poppies for the Strawberry Summer Salad (featuring Strawberry Poppy Vinaigrette).
